Recently Overhauled Main Rotor Head - 21/02/2022

Since becoming a CAA Approved Part 145 Overhaul Shop last year, the Overhaul Shop has been proved successful with our Overhaul team also expanding. Here is a Main Rotor we have recently overhauled, and look forward to returning to its happy customer. All Materials are released with our Company CAA Form 1 at our fully equipped hangar based at Manston, Kent.

Helix currently maintain a fleet of Bell Jet Rangers, Long Rangers, Bell 505 Jet Ranger X, and Bell 407. We offer service maintenance, repair, and all aspects of component overhaul on the Bell / AB206 series.

Capabilities include components Part Life Inspection, Repair, and Overhaul.

Overhauls include Removal, Disassembly, Inspection Parts Replacement, Reassembly, and Reinstallation of Bell Components.

• Main Rotor Drive Train to include Main Drive Shaft
• Head Mid Life Inspections / O/H and replacement of parts
• Mast Mid Life Inspections / O/H
• Tail Rotor Hub Assembly, Mid Life Inspections / O/H
• Swashplate Repair, Replacement, Mid Life Inspections / O/H
• Main Transmission Mid Life Inspections / O/H
• Freewheel Unit Mid Life Inspections / O/H – Clutch Change Part Life
• Rotor Brakes O/H
• Tail Rotor Gearbox Mid Life Inspections / O/H
• Oil Cooler Fan Assembly Static Balance, Tail Rotor Drive Shaft both long and segmented, Mid Life Inspections / O/H
• Tail Rotor Blade bearing replacement
• Main Transmission "A" frames and Transmission Pylon Mount fittings, Bearing Replacement / O/H
• Various Flight Control repairs such as rod end and bearing replacements
