We are delighted to announce our 15th Bell 505 delivery into the UK; a brilliant start to the year.
This is a beautiful Phantom Grey Metallic 505, which looks incredible in person and has real presence, complemented with a sophisticated Premium Interior in Black Leather Seats for a more VIP look. Door openers both Pilot & Co-Pilot side for easy ingress, which is a great feature for your passengers.
It is the first 505 in the UK to have the Genesys HeliSAS 2-Axis Autopilot fitted from the Bell Factory in Mirabel, Canada. This is an excellent feature especially for increased pilot comfort over long distances and decreased pilot workload. The 2-Axis version includes pitch control (altitude hold, IAS Hold) and roll control (HDG hold, NAV, vertical navigation mode), and provides assistance in the event of inadvertent Instrument Meteorological Conditions.
Integrated with the Garmin G1000H NXi suite, which has a faster processor and clearer clarity with an improved layout as apposed to its predecessor. The avionics suite provides best-in-class workload reduction and situational awareness with terrain information in an easy-to-read format. With the latest NXi screens and dual-channel FADEC controlled engine, it is the most advanced short light single engine in its class.
It also has the Flight Stream 510; an excellent feature which allows you to plan your route indoors using Garmin Pilot, then Bluetooth directly to the aircraft. It also gives you Bluetooth connectivity to your smart devices.

The new owner is very much looking forward to be flying his brand new 505 around the country, and will be using his 505 for Private flights. The Helix team welcomed the 505's arrival late December 2021, and did a wonderful job reassembling the aircraft at the Helix hangar based in Manston, Kent.
